Product registration

Product registration is quick and easy. All you need to complete the process is the serial number, model number and installation date for each of your new Trane products. If you don’t have this information handy on your sales invoice, your dealer can provide it to you. Information on where to locate your product’s serial number can also be found here.

Register online or by phone

Beginning May 1, 2009, Registered Limited Warranty terms are available if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Registration can be completed online or by
calling 1-800-554-6413.

Registered Limited Warranty Transfer Option

Now you can have even more peace of mind knowing that your reliable Trane system may help you sell your home, with the purchase of a Registered Limited Warranty transfer option*. During the Registered Limited Warranty period you have the opportunity to purchase this transferability option, which allows your Registered Limited Warranty to be transferred to a subsequent homeowner. This transferability option may be purchased (1) during the 60 day Product Registration Period, or (2) within the Registered Limited Warranty period, up to ninety (90) days following the sale of your home. *The Registered Limited Warranty transferability option is available for a $59 fee during the initial 60 day Product Registration period. If purchased outside of the Product Registration Period, a $99 fee will apply; however, this option is available up to ninety (90) days following the sale of your home.
